🔼The Fans—A Love Story, By Hugh Freeze. Before Coach Freeze took questions or talked about the players who represented Auburn in Dallas at SEC Media Days, he mentioned Michael Wiliams from Montgomery, the fan who purchased the last season ticket package to secure a second straight season sellout.

“We just can’t thank our Auburn family enough for their faithfulness in supporting us in all the ways they do and supporting our players,” said Freeze, a first-time host of the event that’s long marked the unofficial start of Southeastern Conference football season.

Auburn equaled its program record of 63,500 season tickets purchased, which will grow to 80,000 once the ongoing student season ticket process concludes.

Go here for more on Freeze’s take on playing at Jordan-Hare, how the team’s five-home game stretch is vital to their success, and some players he thinks will be just as critical for wins.

🔼Hardest Place, Best Place. EA College Sports recently put Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium on its list of toughest places to play. Keldric Faulk got asked about this at SEC Media Day, and his answer will have you longing for football season to start already.
