Good Morning, Auburn Family. The highly anticipated Auburn Football season is upon us. To celebrate this, as well as the 20th anniversary of the undefeated and SEC Champion 2004 Auburn football team, Auburn Athletics will host a reunion the first weekend in November when the Tigers host Vanderbilt.

The reunion weekend, which will be for 2004 players, coaches and support staff, will include an evening event on Friday, Nov. 1, and a pregame tailgate on Saturday, Nov. 2.

🔼 Stars Aligned For Seniors. Thanks to a trio of goals from three seniors—Anna Haddock, Carly Thatcher and Sammie Brown—No. 15 Auburn soccer (3-0-0) wrapped up its Senior Weekend celebration with a 3-0 shutout of Coastal Carolina (0-2-1) Sunday afternoon at the Auburn Soccer Complex.  

Up next, the Tigers trek to South Alabama for their first road test of the season. Kickoff from The Cage in Mobile, Alabama is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Aug. 29.

🔼 We’ll Always Have Paris. The XXXIII Olympiad has concluded, but it wasn’t without plenty of triumphs for past, present and future Auburn student-athletes.

Eleven Tigers made their way to Paris, each returning home with something to be proud of. Two weeks of action saw the Orange and Blue total three medals and many personal bests in their respective disciplines.

🔼 Too Tall? Nah, Just Right. A love affair with football began for a very tall man at a very small age.

Auburn senior offensive lineman Izavion “Too Tall” Miller has found his heart in the gridiron game.

“I’ve been playing football since I was 6,” the Memphis native recalled.

After earning NJCAA all-region and all-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) honors and preseason All-America recognition, Miller arrived at Auburn before the 2023 season and earned the starting nod at right tackle for every game last year. 

“I love the game of football,” Miller said. “I love it. I love the physicality – being physical and being free out there on the field. The game is deep in my heart.”
