🔼 Today’s Tongue-Twister: Tigers Trek to Troy to Take On Trojans in Tuesday Tilt. In its first road midweek test of the season, No. 25 Auburn softball (14-6-1) faces the Trojans today. The Tigers are coming off their Southeastern Conference home opener as Auburn played spoiler on Sunday to take a 2-1 win over No. 20 Arkansas. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT and is available on ESPN+.

"With another tough SEC series this weekend, Tuesday gives us another chance to play in front of a hostile crowd, which we haven't done much yet this season,” said head coach Mickey Dean.

🔼 Consistency is Key The Auburn gymnastics team remains at No. 14 this week in the most recent RoadToNationals.com rankings with an NQS of 197.315. Auburn's beam team remains seventh nationally with an NQS of 49.420. Individually, fifth-year Cassie Stevens jumped to 14th nationally with a 39.590 in the all-around.
 
Auburn kicks off the postseason this Saturday as the No. 7 seed, traveling to New Orleans for the 2024 SEC Championships. The Tigers will compete in the afternoon session of the two-session meet, beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT, facing off against Arkansas, Missouri and Georgia. The championship will be televised on SEC Network.

The Tigers took home eight event wins from six different performances. All-SEC First Team sprinter Kanyinsola Ajayi highlighted the men's showcase, leading the sweep in the men's 100m dash, while Danae Nembhard, Paula Grauvogel and Ashanti Harvey led the Tigers to a sweep of the 100m hurdles on the women's side.

This will be the second all-time meeting between Auburn and Yale. In their first and only meeting, the Tigers prevailed with an 86-64 victory over the Bulldogs on Dec. 4, 2021 at Neville Arena.
