Auburn Baseball puts perfect midweek record on the line against Alabama State Hornets
Good morning. Auburn (18-13) puts its perfect midweek record on the line with a matchup against Alabama State (13-16) tonight at Plainsman Park.
The game will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on Wings 94.3 FM. It will also be broadcast nationally on SEC Network.

Talking Tigers - Maddie Penta
She is the winningest pitcher in Auburn history…and her career isn’t over. Maddie Penta came to the Plains from Chesapeake City, Maryland. She comes from a softball family. Her mother, Susan, pitched at Delaware and was Maddie’s pitching coach through high school. Her sister, Mariah, is a freshman at Auburn.
As a junior, Maddie was an All-American and the SEC Pitcher of the Year. On March 17th, Penta set the Auburn record for wins against #20 Arkansas. Just how far she takes that record remains to be seen.

🔼 Quadruple the Greatness. A Fantastic Four representing three decades of Auburn Athletics excellence: Takeo Spikes, Kasey Cooper, Caitlin Atkinson-Tomlin, and Cliff Ellis were inducted into the Tiger Trail of Auburn on Saturday.
The quartet of Tiger greats reflected on their time on the Plains during a ceremony in the Rane Room of the Auburn Athletics Complex before drawing to determine the location of their sidewalk markers downtown.

🔼 Honesty and Honor About Sums it Up. Auburn graduate guard Honesty Scott-Grayson was named an honorable mention All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. A native of Brick, N.J., she led Auburn in scoring with 17.3 points per game in her final season on the Plains, helping lead the Tigers back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019.
Scott-Grayson finished her career with 1,600 points at Auburn, good for 11th on the all-time scoring list. She also finished in the Auburn career top 10 in free throws made (307 – T-9th ) and scoring average (14.4 – 7th ). In addition, her 228 assists at Auburn rank 20th in program history.
🔼 Cloudy With a Chance of Softball. In the final midweek contest at Jane B. Moore this season, Auburn softball (20-12-1) hosts in-state foe UAB (17-21) today at Jane B. Moore Field. The Tigers hold a 15-2 advantage in the all-time series versus UAB and are looking to win their 13th consecutive game over the Blazers.
Auburn is coming off one of its best offensive weekends of the season as the Tigers went 3-1 at the War Eagle Classic with wins of Louisiana Tech and Georgia Tech. Over the four-game tournament stretch, Auburn averaged over six runs a game.

🔼 Paula’s Pace. Sophomore Paula Grauvogel took home silver in the women's heptathlon Saturday in Coral Gables, Florida, to headline Auburn Track & Field's split duty weekend at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational and Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Grauvogel ended the meet with a new personal best of 5,572 points. Her efforts were aided by four PRs, which included the 200m (24.69), 800m (2:24.73), 100m hurdles (13.60) and shot put (11.69). Currently, she is No. 8 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC. Grauvogel is now third on Auburn women's outdoor top performers list.
