🔼 Mr. Everywhere. After helping lead Auburn to a 14-10 win at California Saturday, linebacker Eugene Asante has been named SEC Defensive Player of the Week after making 12 tackles, including nine solos, against Cal—adding a sack, 1.5 tackles for loss, a pass breakup, and two quarterback hurries.

Talking Tigers. Ron Burgess spent his senior year of high school in Opelika. When it came time for college, he made the short trip to Auburn University on an ROTC scholarship. He spent his first career in the Army, working primarily in intelligence. Burgess' travels took he and his family across the world. Before he retired as a Lt. General, he was briefing President Bush and President Obama on a daily basis.

He came back to Auburn University, and retired as the Chief Operating Officer for Presidents Gogue, Leath and Roberts. The amazing career of Retired Lt. General Ron Burgess is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, brought to you by Alabama Public Health.
