🔼 Ambush Makeover But Make it Sports. As preseason camp draws nearer, talking season fills the void in SEC country.

More than 300 Auburn alumni and fans gathered Tuesday at Willow Point Golf & Country Club to hear from Auburn’s Hugh Freeze, Bruce Pearl and John Cohen at the second stop on the Auburn Alumni Association’s AMBUSH tour, raising scholarship funds for incoming Auburn University students.

AMBUSH will conclude July 17 with a Texas two-step, a Lone Star State doubleheader featuring an afternoon event in Houston and an evening session in Dallas/Fort Worth.

🔼 In the Nick of Time. Let’s recap the last season of Auburn men’s golf one more time, shall we?

Coach Nick Clinard's players set a new program record with 10 tournament wins, double the previous. Auburn won seven straight to finish the year, including the SEC Championship, a regional championship, and the NCAA Championship. The Tigers are the first SEC team to capture all three major postseason event titles since 2014.

On that note, the schedule for next season is out, and Coach Clinard said he’s
“super excited about the quality of this schedule and the caliber of competition.”

🔼 Take it Easley. Former Auburn and Ole Miss men’s golfer CJ Easley has joined the women’s golf staff as an assistant coach, head coach Melissa Luellen has announced. Easley will join Coach Luellen and associate head coach Kim Hall on the coaching staff.

Easley arrived on the Plains as a freshman before the 2019-20 season and played three years for the Tigers before transferring to Ole Miss for his final two years of eligibility. Easley appeared in six tournaments for Auburn during the 2020-21 season and ten events the following season.

🔼 Kylie From Kansas City, Kansas, K? Adding a second Southeastern Conference transfer to help bolster the 2025 roster, co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux announced the signing of Kylie Brockman.

A highly regarded recruit out of high school, Brockman was ranked No. 19 in Extra Inning Softball’s 2022 Extra Elite 100. She earned Kansas 5A All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2021.

Brockman had limited action during her freshman campaign at Arkansas, appearing in nine games. She totaled 10 at-bats, scored twice, and drew a pair of walks. Defensively, she turned in a perfect fielding percentage with 29 putouts and a pair of assists.
