🔼 Home Sweet Home. First impressions can last awhile, right?

Well that’s what redshirt freshman Hank Brown is hoping as the gunslinger tossed for four TDs to lead the Tigers to a dominating second half and a 45-17 Homecoming victory over visiting New Mexico on Saturday night.

Leading 17-13 at the half, Auburn opened the third quarter with a 75-yard touchdown drive that began with Jarquez Hunter’s 31-yard run and ended with Brown’s 3-yard touchdown pass to Micah Riley

Hunter logged his ninth career 100-yard game, gaining 152 yards on 20 carries.

Brown completed 17 of 25 passes for 235 yards, completing 68 percent of his attempts, including nine consecutive completions in the second half.

🔼 Eight Is Great. There are over 300 Division I women’s soccer programs in the country.

Only two of those 300+ have yet to allow a goal this fall. Our Auburn Tigers are one of them.

Taking on Old Dominion, a program that has won their conference three straight years, Auburn flexed its defensive prowess yet again for an eighth straight shutout, 2-0, over the Monarchs.

The Tigers’ defense allowed just one shot on goal while Shelby Sallee and Becky Contreras each netted one of their own to propel AU to the victory.

Senior goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska now sits on 32 career shutouts, one shy of tying Megan Rivera’s program record.

🤔 TIGER TRIVIA

As we mentioned, Hank Brown tossed for four TDs in his first career start.

Who was the last Auburn QB to toss for 4+ TDs in their first start?

🐅 ONE BIG THING

🔼 The Finisher. Former Auburn standout Daniel Carlson played finisher for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

One of the biggest underdogs of the year, Carlson blasted home a 38-yard field goal with less than a minute remaining to help the Raiders go on the road and take down one of the AFC favorites in the Baltimore Ravens, 26-23.

For the game, Carlson knocked down four field goals for the Raiders.
