🔼 No Bad Luck in Week 13. Anders Carlson came through with a clutch kick at Lambeau Field, while Jonathan Jones earned high praise both on and off the field for the New England Patriots.

That and more in this week's Auburn Made NFL rundown for Week 13.

Derrick Brown, DT, Carolina Panthers
Brown not only led Carolina's defense this week with a PFF grade of 91.3, but he earned the highest grade of any interior defensive lineman in the NFL for Week 13. He continued what has been a dominant campaign by posting a season-best seven pressures against Tampa Bay. He finished the day with four tackles and two QB hits. Brown now has 64 tackles on the season, putting him just three away from his single-season best (67) set last year.

Anders Carlson, K, Green Bay Packers
With 1:14 left in the fourth quarter, Carlson took advantage of a pivotal opportunity and drilled a 48-yard field goal to extend Green Bay's lead to 8 – a lead the Packers would hang on to in a 27-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It was another perfect day for the rookie kicker, who also made a 40-yard field goal and all three extra points. Carlson is now 81 percent (17 of 21) on field goals this season and has yet to miss one under 40 yards.

🔼 Pomp and Circumstance, Indeed. Auburn Athletics posted its highest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) in program history, 94 percent, exceeding Auburn's record-setting 93 percent rates from 2021 and 2022, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

"We commend these Auburn student-athletes for bringing the same discipline and tenacity to the pursuit of their Auburn University degrees as they do to athletic competition," athletics director John Cohen said. "This elite achievement is the product of the commitment displayed by student-athletes and their families, along with the diligence of Auburn's academic support services staff and coaching staffs."

Figures released Dec. 6 reflect graduation numbers among student-athletes who entered college during the 2016-17 academic year.

Auburn's 94 percent GSR ranks third in the Southeastern Conference.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: 94,208!

This astounding number of spectators attended the 2014 BCS Championship Game at the Rose Bowl. And what a game it was, complete with an unfortunate ending, however. It looked as though Auburn had it wrapped up, but FSU’s Jameis Winston threw a 2-yard TD pass to Kelvin Benjamin with only 13 left on the clock. In the end, No. 1 Florida State beat No. 2 Auburn to win the BCS Championship.

🐅 Have a great Thursday, y’all!
