Auburn football wasn’t without its highlights this past weekend in College Station—Eugene Asante returning a fumble 67 yards for a touchdown and Alex McPherson kicking a career-long 53-yard field goal specifically spring to mind—but the Tigers fell 27-10 to Texas A&M in their SEC opener.

📅 Auburn returns to Jordan-Hare Stadium next Saturday to host Georgia at 2:30 p.m. CT in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry on CBS and the Auburn Sports Network.

🔼 First Of Many. A nearly perfect third set, 20 kills from Akasha Anderson, a seventh double-double for Jackie Barrett, and 500 career kills from Madison Scheer was just what No. 24 Auburn needed to get back into the win column, besting Ole Miss in four sets (21-25, 25-21, 25-10, 27-25) to improve to 11-2 on the season.

After taking the No. 3 team in the nation to extra points in the fifth, head coach Brent Crouch needed a bounce-back in several ways. His team delivered.

🔼 Giddy Up. No. 2 Auburn equestrian team kicked off the 2023-24 season at the Auburn University Equestrian Center, downing No. 9 UC Davis by a score of 14-4. The win marked the first for new head coach Jessica Braswell.

And if the box score wasn’t enough to prove just how much Auburn dominated the day, the Tigers also swept the Most Outstanding Performer honors—Isabella Tesmer was awarded in Reining, while Anna Marie Mayes took the award in Flat. Caroline Fredenburg picked up MOP in Horsemanship and Avery Glynn was honored for her performance in Fences.

A documentary about legendary Auburn football coach Pat Dye, "Mighty: The Life and Legacy of Pat Dye" will air on Alabama Public Television and Georgia Public Broadcasting on Monday. "Mighty" will make its debut on APT on Monday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. CT and air Monday on GPB at 9 p.m. CT.

The 120-minute documentary chronicles the story of Coach Dye's life, his football career as a player and a coach, and his passion for horticulture and the outdoors.
