🔼 Wading Into Tiger Territory. Getting to the Plains has been a long one for senior offensive lineman Dillon Wade, filled with challenges. But it has been a process that has taught him valuable life lessons.

“Playing football has taught me how to handle adversity,” Wade said. “Everyone says that, but it’s so true. It’s a sport where you’re going to have battles every day, and you have to learn to just not give up—to keep fighting to get to where you want to be.”

Read On the Plains With Dillon Wade for more on Coach Jake Thornton’s role in Wade’s transfer to Auburn from Tulsa, why he thinks this year’s team has what it takes to win and his dreams for the future.

🔼 From A to Z. Head Coach Jeff Graba has announced that the Auburn gymnastics program added two talented transfers for the 2025 season—Alex Irvine and Sarah Zois.

ALEX IRVINE

HIGHLIGHTS: Spent her first year of eligibility at UCLA, competing on vault, bars and floor … Reached a career-high 9.9 on bars and 9.85 on vault vs. Arizona State (3/9/24) …

SARAH ZOIS

🔼 She’s a Keeper. When fifth-year senior Maddie Prohaska first announced she would play soccer at Auburn, she received mixed reactions.

“It’s a big difference when you’re from Ohio, that’s Big Ten territory,” she explained. “When I said I was going to Auburn, the first question was: ‘What state is that in?’”

The eventual 2020 SEC All-Freshman Team member branched outward to begin her collegiate career. At 17, Prohaska made the jump down south with the support of her family, teammates and coaches.

Read On the Plains With Maddie Prohaska for more on the move to Auburn during a pandemic, her academic success and Auburn’s place in her heart.

“I think I’ll always call it home.”
