Bodda Getta Daily Brew 8/20: "Freaky Talent"
On3's Charles Power named Auburn's Cam Coleman to All-American team, calling his talent "freaky"
Good Morning, Auburn Family. On3 recently released their preseason true freshman All-America team, with Auburn’s Cam Coleman making the list at receiver.
Here's what On3's Director of Scouting and Rankings, Charles Power, had to say about Coleman:
“Cam Coleman is one of the best receiver prospects of the internet recruiting era. Simply put, he’s a freaky talent at the position at 6-3.5 and around 190-200 pounds. Cam Coleman has a massive catch radius and is an elite athlete; I think he presents a big-time jump ball target. From day one, we saw this on display in Auburn’s spring game where Coleman made several highlight catches and quite frankly looked like the best player on the field.”

🎥 WAREAGLE+: TALKING TIGERS
Talking Tigers - Will Herring
Will Herring was a sophomore on the 2004 Auburn’s SEC Championship team. The former high school quarterback from Opelika had moved into a starting role in the secondary of a group of veterans on defense. Playing alongside Carlos Rogers, Junior Rosegreen and Travis Williams, Herring was part of a unit that led the SEC in scoring defense, just over 11 points per game.
Herring—who is entering his second season as one of our sideline reporters on the Auburn Sports Network—is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast.
🔼 A Coach Convention of Sorts. Last night’s Tiger Talk, the first of the season, aired on its new night, Monday, at 6 p.m. CT from the Hall of Fame Club and featured head football coach Hugh Freeze, head men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl and head men's golf coach Nick Clinard.
The show will move to Baumhower's Victory Grille next Monday and will be held there live in person for all shows during home football game weeks.

🔼 Putting the PRO in Prohaska. After earning the first top-five shutout of her career, senior Maddie Prohaska has been named an SEC Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
Prohaska went the distance between the sticks in Auburn’s season-opening victory versus No. 5 Clemson. She made saves on all four dangerous chances faced, including two on a pair of breakaways, to hold Clemson scoreless for just the second time in its previous 17 regular season matches.
🔼 Fall Tennis, Anyone? Auburn men’s tennis head coach Bobby Reynolds has announced the team’s 2024 fall tournament schedule. For the first time, the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championship will be held at the end of the fall rather than the spring. This fall, the individual championships will be held in Waco, Texas, on Nov. 19-24.
The Tigers will represent the Southeastern Conference in a couple of fall events this season. The team will return to the SEC/Big Ten Challenge in September for the second straight year as well as take part in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge in October.
