🔼 Pressure? What Pressure? Daniel Carlson proved again this week why he’s one of the best kickers in the NFL, converting all four of his field-goal attempts and the game-winner in the final minute to give Las Vegas their first win of 2024.
That and more in this week’s Auburn Made NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 2
Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders
Add another clutch kick to Daniel Carlson’s resume after Sunday as the former Auburn kicker drilled a 38-yard field goal with less than a minute left that proved to be the game-winner for the Raiders in their 26-23 victory at Baltimore. It was one of four field goals on the day for Carlson, who connected from 53 and 51 yards out in the first half. He’s now made 27-of-34 field goals of 50+ yards since entering the league in 2018.

🔼 He’s Got Skills. Robert Allen Jr. joins the Auburn men’s basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant.
Renowned as one of the best player development skill coaches in America, Allen Jr. has run a transformative basketball training business focused on skill development for top talent from the NBA, FIBA, college and youth levels for 13 years.
He began his college basketball journey at Temple University playing for legendary head coach John Chaney during the 2003-04 season. He and his teammates helped Chaney to his 700th win, solidifying him as one of the all-time winningest coaches in NCAA history.
“Over the years, hiring great graduate assistant coaches has been a real key to our success,” head coach Bruce Pearl said.
