Bodda Getta Daily Brew 6/19: Meet the Malveauxs
Auburn Softball will be getting a two-fer this season, and this is your chance to get to know them
Good Morning, Auburn Family. Embracing the uniqueness of their situation, Auburn softball co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux see their partnership as a plus.
"The reason why this is going to work really well," Kate Malveaux said, "is what he is may not be my strength. My strengths may not be his, so you get the best."
Introduced Tuesday at the Woltosz Center, the Malveauxs expressed gratitude for their opportunity, appreciation for Auburn softball's past, enthusiasm for its future, and love for each other.

At the BoddaGetta Daily Brew, we’d also like to pause on this Juneteenth holiday to remember, honor and celebrate freedom for all. Please enjoy today’s Brew on this special day.

🔼 Head Coach, High Bar. New women's tennis head coach Jordan Szabo got a taste of the Auburn spirit when his campus visit and interview coincided with men's golf's rolling Toomer's Corner after winning the 2024 SEC Championship. That’s probably why he called Auburn a “magical place” when Athletics Director John Cohen formally introduced Szabo Tuesday at the Woltosz Center.
"I know you can win here," Szabo said.
Szabo inherits a program that has reached the second round of the NCAA Championship in four consecutive seasons.
As such, he certainly didn’t shy away from setting the stage, saying, “I predict we're going to be one of the top teams in the SEC straight away and give ourselves a chance to be in the hunt.”
