🔼 Net Results. Auburn Men’s Tennis team captains Billy Blaydes and Will Nolan will begin their quest for a title at the NCAA Doubles Championship today in Waco, Texas. The Tiger duo is one of 32 doubles teams that qualified to play for the national title. One round will be played today through Sunday, when the championship match will take place.
Blaydes and Nolan earned their bid to the championship by becoming the ITA Southern Region Doubles Champions in October. This will mark their first appearance, but Tad Maclean and Finn Murgett reached the event finals in 2021 and the quarterfinals in 2022.
🔼 Senior Salute. In the final regular season home match of the season, Auburn (14-10, 4-9) hosts No. 20 Florida (19-5, 10-3) tonight inside Neville Arena. First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT, and doors open one hour before the match begins.
This contest marks Auburn's Senior Day and head coach Brent Crouch will honor Bella Bell, Fallan Lanham, Chelsey McCurdy and Paige Thibault for their unprecedented contributions to the program. This senior class represents some of the best moments in Auburn Volleyball history, including back-to-back 20-win seasons and two consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament, a feat accomplished for the first time in school history a year ago.

🔼 Did Someone Say “Road Trip?” Auburn women’s basketball has begun its three-week, six-game stretch away from home as the Tigers are in Eugene to face No. 23 Oregon tonight. Game time is 8 p.m. CT/6 p.m. PT.
The Tigers (3-0) take on their first road game of the season against an Oregon team (5-0) playing its sixth straight at home. An Auburn win would give the team a 4-0 start for the first time since the 2016-17 season and improve their record to 3-0 all-time against Oregon.

🔼 Auburn From A to Z. An important chapter of life is winding down for defensive lineman Zykeivous Walker, with all the memories and emotions that a looming Senior Day brings.
Walker came to Auburn in January 2020 and quickly saw time along the defensive front as a true freshman. In four seasons, he has totaled 45 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, but the truest measure is what he has gained at Auburn.
“These past few weeks, as I think about the end of my college days, I admit I get emotional because I look back and see how far I’ve come, how far God has brought me,” Walker said.
Read On the Plains With Zykeivous Walker for more on what made him decide to be a Tiger, becoming an SEC Academic Honor Roll student and how Auburn made him a better man.
🔼 No One-Trick Tigers. Six members of the Auburn soccer team have been awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors. Representing the Orange & Blue amongst this year’s honorees are Sammie Brown, Anna Haddock, LJ Knox, Mallory Mooney, Maddie Prohaska and Carly Thatcher.
The Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, have a minimum of one year completed at their current institution and have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season.

🔼 Just the Beginning. With the freshman talent on this team, the sky’s the limit. Let’s keep this winning train rolling.
🔼 Advantage Auburn. Auburn’s DJ Bennett and Merna Refaat each won their respective opening-round matches at the NCAA Singles Championship in Waco, Texas, on Tuesday. Bennett defeated Purdue’s Carmen Gallardo Guevara 6-4, 6-1, while Refaat defeated Oklahoma State’s Gracie Epps by a 6-1, 6-4 score.
Bennett will face Old Dominion’s Sofia Johnson today, and Refaat will play Tennessee’s Elza Tomase in the second round of the singles championship. Bennett and Hrastar’s first-round doubles matchup in the doubles championship will be played against Appalachian State’s Isabella Romanichen and Savannah Dada-Mascoll.
🔼 What a Legacy. Flanked by his grand nephews, Randy Campbell returned to his alma mater to receive Auburn's 2024 Walter Gilbert Award, presented annually to former student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through achievements after graduation.
In the four decades since he helped Auburn win the 1984 Sugar Bowl, finishing with an 11-1 record and No. 3 Associated Press ranking, Campbell has consistently given back to Auburn.
“Auburn University took a chance on me,” Campbell said. “I’ve always felt the responsibility to give back to Auburn in any way that I can, whether it’s being an ambassador for the school, working on a committee on the foundation board or trying, when we can, to help financially.”
