Auburn Football looks to keep the momentum going tomorrow against Vanderbilt
Good Morning, Tigers. In the Kentucky locker room at halftime, Hugh Freeze told his team that it was time for them to find a way to win. The Tigers had been in almost every game this season but kept coming up short. The team took the message to heart. Auburn outscored Kentucky 14-0 in the second half, securing a 24-10 victory.
There’s been a new sense of confidence and momentum around the building this week, and they’re eager to do it again tomorrow in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
This week’s game will mark the first time Auburn has played at home since September. It will be another sold-out crowd for the Tigers and Commodores, who will kick off at 11:45 a.m. CT tomorrow.
Wait until you see what else we have mixed into the Brew today. Check it out below!

🔼 Forward Motion. Auburn graduate forward DeYona Gaston has been named to the Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year Award watch list. The Katrina McClain Award honors the top power forward in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball. It is named after former Georgia standout Katrina McClain, a two-time All-American and 1987 National Player of the Year.

🔼 Hardwood, Hard On the Opponent. It’s safe to say that Auburn WBB is ready for the real thing on Monday! Led by 32 points and 14 rebounds from DeYona Gaston, three players recorded double-doubles for Auburn women’s basketball in a 106-26 win over LaGrange Thursday night in the Tigers’ lone exhibition matchup at Neville Arena.
Taylen Collins added 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Mar’Shaun Bostic had 12 points, 13 assists and eight steals on a night when Auburn started hot and stayed hot on both ends of the floor. The Tigers shot 57 percent (45-79) from the field, assisting on 31 of the 45 field goals made.
🔼 Testing the Talented Waters. For the first time since beating Georgia on Senior Day, March 9, before winning the SEC Tournament, No. 11 Auburn returns to Neville Arena Friday at 7 p.m. CT to play Florida Atlantic in a charity exhibition.
Two seasons removed from a Final Four appearance, Florida Atlantic presents the challenge Auburn coach Bruce Pearl seeks ahead of the Tigers' season opener Wednesday vs. Vermont in Tipoff on The Plains.
🗣 “They’ve got SEC size on the front line, length, veteran, older guards, good depth and are multiple defensively. We will have to play better against Florida Atlantic than we did Furman to win the game.” - Bruce Pearl, head coach
🔼 Annie, Get Your Saddle. The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team stays on the road for another top-five matchup, traveling No. 4 Oklahoma State. The Tigers and Cowgirls will clash today at 10 a.m. CT in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

19 Tigers are ready to compete for the conference’s top honors, with five freshmen running in their first SEC cross-country championships.
🗣 “This is the part of the year we’ve prepped for all through the off-season. I think we’re coming in healthy, not overraced or overtrained.” - Aaron Kindt, head coach
🔼 The Key to Success. Three Questions With LB Keyron Crawford 👇🏼
Q: What’s the mood been around the team this week following a win?
A: It’s been all happiness and joy, but we also know the season is not over. We have to keep moving forward now. We’re not going to get a big head. We’re just going to move on to our next opponent.
Q: How excited are you to be back in Jordan-Hare this week? It’s been over a month.
A: I know the atmosphere is going to be 10x louder this week because we just came off a win. I know they’re going to bring it.
