🔼 The Right Course of Action. After leading the top-ranked Tigers with a pair of top-three finishes at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, Auburn men’s golf’s Brendan Valdes and Billy Davis were named SEC Golfer of the Week and SEC Freshman of the Week, respectively.

Valdes earns Golfer of the Week for the third time in his career. It is his fourth weekly conference honor as he captured Freshman of the Week in March of 2022. Davis picks up his first career recognition.

🔼 Just the Right Amount of Horsin’ Around. Next up for Auburn Equestrian is a conference matchup against South Carolina on Oct. 11. 

🔼 Winning is a Good Time. With a 12-0, 2-1 record and recently taking down Alabama for the eighth straight victory, Auburn Volleyball has certainly been enjoying themselves.

🔼 Bondon. Maddy Bondon. For graduate student Maddy Bondon, the college soccer experience has been a transformative journey marked by leadership, passion and lifelong friendships.

The Duluth, Georgia, native has also been lucky to have the support of her family close by throughout her college career. Bondon’s parents, Morgan and Cassie, are regulars at the Auburn Soccer Complex and key members of the parent team.

Throughout her collegiate career, Bondon has played a vital leadership role on the soccer field. While athletic achievements are exciting, she is proud to be voted team captain.

 “I came here and wanted my impact to reach beyond just the soccer field. Over the last four years, I devoted myself to becoming a great leader.”

🔼 No Ordinary Dinner Party. Co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux and the Auburn softball program are set to host Dinner on the Diamond on Friday, Oct. 18.

The dinner, which will be held at Jane B. Moore Field, is open to alumni, On Deck Club members, season ticket holders and the general public. Attendees will be able to meet the 2025 Auburn softball team and coaching staff and hear remarks about the upcoming season.

🔼 The Auburn Link. For the second time in three seasons, the path to the NCAA Championship runs through Auburn. The No. 1 Tigers’ home course, Auburn University Club, will serve as one of six regional sites for the championship precursor set for May 12-14, 2025.

Auburn hosted NCAA Regionals in 2023 when the Tigers advanced through in first place before finishing tied for 10^th place at the 2023 NCAA Championship. The Auburn women hosted a regional at the same club last season. 

Teams that advance through this season's regional round will compete in the 2025 NCAA Championship, which will be held at the Omni La Costa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California, from May 23-28, 2025.
