 🎥 WAREAGLE+: THE FLIGHT

The Flight - Football (S. 2, Ep. 6)
At the halfway point of the season, Auburn has reached its first bye week. The Tigers look to rebound from a tough game and prepare for the heart of the SEC schedule.

🔼 We Made Our Point. No. 14 Auburn soccer (11-1-2, 3-1-2) picked up another point in league play with a 1-1 draw against Alabama (7-3-5, 0-1-5) Thursday night in the Iron Bowl of Soccer at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

Statically, Auburn outshot its in-state rivals 15-8 and created five attacking corner kicks while surrendering just one to the Tide. Senior Maddie Prohaska made one crucial save to bring her career total to 278.

Next, the Tigers head to Tennessee for another tough contest on the road. Kickoff from Regal Soccer Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. CT on ESPNU on Sunday, Oct. 13.

🔼 We Meet Again. After a successful Orange & Blue meet, head coach Ryan Wochomurka and the Auburn Swim and Dive team prepare for the SMU Classic and UNC-Wilmington Invite for the Tigers’ first official action of the 2024-25 season. The SMU Classic is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT this evening, while the UNC-Wilmington Invite will start Saturday the 12th at noon CT.

Wochomurka and head diving coach John Fox bring in an impressive class to both the swim and dive teams for the upcoming season, including Olympian Emily Hallifax, who competed for her home country of France in the 2024 Paris Games.

🔼 Top Saddle. The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team has traveled from the Plains today to take on No. 7 South Carolina. The Tigers and Gamecocks look to battle it out at 10 a.m. CT in Blythewood, S.C., at One Wood Farm.

The Tigers are coming off that big win against the then-No. 1 TCU to start the season in September. Auburn looks to take this momentum on the road as the team will face challenges away from home.

🔼 Making It Rain(ey). A new era of Auburn softball is beginning under the direction of co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux, and with them are eight new Tigers on The Plains looking to help make a mark in year one.

The 2024 West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year, Haley Rainey, joins the Tigers after two seasons at Cal State Fullerton, bringing veteran experience to Auburn’s young bullpen.

Q: Why did you decide Auburn was the best fit to continue your collegiate career?

Rainey: It truly felt like home. I had so much fun on my visit, and I heard incredible things about the coaches from people in the softball community who I am close with. (which matters a lot in a such a short amount of time!)
