From the National Championship field goal to the State’s Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor in Broward County, Florida. That’s the route for Wes Byrum. His walk-off field goals against Florida, Kentucky and Oregon are legendary. He wasn’t offered by the Gators out of high school and he beat them and ran off the field in the Swamp with the gator chomp while Rod Bramblett was bellowing “See ya later alligator!”
🔼 Silver Moment. The No. 1 Auburn men’s golf team finished as runner-up at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, finishing +5 as a team. Junior Billy Davis led Auburn with a tie for sixth place individually.

Keldric Faulk (Tennessee Titans) recorded the first sack of his NFL career in only his third professional game. The rookie defensive end finished with three solo tackles and two tackles for loss, with his fourth-quarter sack forcing a punt and helping set up his team’s ensuing touchdown drive.
Derrick Brown (Carolina Panthers) delivered his best performance of the season with five solo tackles and a pass breakup for Carolina.
Carlton Davis III (New England Patriots) reached a season high with eight tackles and broke up a pass.
Derick Hall (Seattle Seahawks) recorded his second sack of the year. His two quarterback hits were the most in a game since his Super Bowl LX performance.
Roger McCreary (Detroit Lions) totaled seven tackles, including four solo, to help the Lions win.
