Head Coach Alex Golesh previews the Tigers season opener against Baylor.

🔼 The Opening Drive. Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown is set to make his debut for the Tigers in their season opener against Baylor this Saturday. Head coach Alex Golesh is eager to see his fast-paced offense in action. Auburn, seeking their 10th consecutive season-opening win, will rely on a strong defense led by coordinator DJ Durkin and returning players like linebacker Xavier Atkins.

🔼 Big Week In Birmingham. Auburn soccer will spend the rest of the week in Birmingham for two games. The Tigers will play at UAB tonight at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN+. The Tigers are looking to remain unbeaten as they are the 10th Tiger team to accomplish this feat through the first five games of the season.

🔼 Captain’s Pick. Former Auburn men’s golfer Jackson Koivun has been picked by team captain Brandt Snedeker to represent the United States at the 2026 Presidents Cup! Koivun joins golf greats Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Sam Burns, Russell Henley, Collin Morikawa, Chris Gotterup, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay and Jacob Bridgeman on Team USA.

🔼 Fell Short. Auburn volleyball lost to No. 11 Minnesota 3-1 in the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. Despite strong performances from Lauren Dreves and Belle Patrick, Auburn fell short. The Tigers will play No. 5 Wisconsin tonight at 7 p.m. CT.

Hall Of Fame Coach. Auburn baseball head coach Butch Thompson has been named a member of the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026! He becomes the third head coach in program history to earn the distinction, joining Paul Nix and Hal Baird. The annual awards banquet and induction ceremony is set for Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover.
