📫 A LETTER FROM BRUCE PEARL

Bruce Pearl, who has guided the Auburn men’s basketball program to unprecedented heights in his 11 years on The Plains, has stepped down as head coach effective immediately and will move into an ambassador’s role in the athletic department as special assistant to the athletic director. The winningest coach in Auburn men’s basketball history with 232 victories, Pearl guided Auburn to Final Fours in 2019 and 2025, five Southeastern Conference championships and six NCAA Tournament appearances.

🔼 Pretty Good, Eh? The women’s golf team won the team title at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational! Balma Dávalos shot a career-low 66 in the final round to finish as individual runner-up. Anne Fernandez earned a career-best tie for third-place, while Charlotte Cantonis tied for eighth.

🔼 Block Party. Auburn volleyball’s Kate Mansfield has been named the Co-SEC Defensive Player of the Week! She tallied 22 blocks across three wins at the Alabama Showdown. She’s averaging 1.70 blocks per set, ranking second in the SEC and sixth in the country.

🔼 Checking In. Let’s take a look at how the Pro Tigers performed in week three of the NFL:

• Jamel Dean took an interception to the house to help lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first 3-0 start since 2005. His 55-yard pick six was the second of his career.

• Rookie Austin Keys recorded his first career sack in his second-ever NFL game with the Minnesota Vikings.

• Jamien Sherwood led the New York Jets with a game-high 11 tackles, including five solo.

Meet The Newcomer. The Auburn equestrian team welcomes freshman Emily Jurnovoy, a jumping seat rider from Woodstock Valley, Connecticut. Emily, who has been riding since childhood, values the team’s close-knit atmosphere and describes it as “cohesive.” She enjoys skiing, cooking and baking outside of riding.
