The start to the 2026-27 athletics calendar… the start of the Alex Golesh era… Jordan-Hare North & the future of NIL. These are just a few of the topics for Auburn’s Director of Athletics John Cohen. He begins his 4th year leading Auburn Athletics, a record setting year for Tigers Unlimited and another sold out season of Auburn Football.

🔼 The Challengers. Auburn volleyball will play in the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge in Madison, Wisconsin this week. They’ll play No. 11 Minnesota today at 5 p.m. CT and No. 5 Wisconsin tomorrow at 7 p.m. CT. Both matches will air nationally on FS1.

🔼 Wearing Stars & Stripes. Auburn men’s golfer Josiah Gilbert switched his international representation from Australia to the United States and is now preparing for the Walker Cup. The sixth-ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking never imagined the collegiate success he would see alongside signing classmates Jackson Koivun and Cayden Pope. After his Auburn career, he wants to rejoin his former teammate on the PGA Tour.

Brave New World. Former Auburn pitcher Blake Burkhalter has been called up by the Atlanta Braves! He played a pivotal role in Auburn’s 2022 College World Series season, ranking second in the country with 16 saves. The Braves drafted Burkhalter with the 76th overall pick of the 2022 MLB Draft.
