It’s kickoff on The Plains as the Tigers host Southern Miss in Alex Golesh’s first home game as head coach. The opening weekend also marks an important milestone for the Jordan-Hare North Project, while offseason team bonding helps the Tigers build chemistry on and off the field.

🔼 Power Stripe On The Plains. Auburn football hosts Florida tomorrow at 6 p.m. on ESPN. The Tigers have won four of the last six matchups in the series. Both teams are led by new head coaches who came to the SEC from the American Conference, Auburn by Alex Golesh and Florida by Jon Sumrall. The color is Power Stripe, so click here to see what your section is wearing!

🏈 The Opening Drive

🔼 Home, Sweet Home. Auburn volleyball defeated UAB 3-1 in last night’s home opener. Anastasija Ivkovic led the Tigers with a career-high 13 kills, while Reese Shugart contributed a team-high 14 kills off the bench. Auburn’s strong blocking performance, with 13 blocks, and efficient hitting, particularly in the second and third sets, secured the victory.

🔼 Pixels On The Pitch. Auburn soccer hosts Ole Miss tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT. It’s Pixels on the Pitch (Videogame Night), and fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel. Fans at home can stream the match on SEC Network+.

🔼 Back On Track. Auburn cross country will compete in its second meet of the season. They’ll race in the Southern Showcase today, with the men’s race beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT and the women’s race at 8:10 a.m. CT. The Tigers enter the weekend coming off a women’s team win and two individual wins.

🔼 SEC Showdown. Auburn men’s tennis starts the season this weekend! The Tigers will compete at the SEC Starkvegas Showdown and the Carolina Pro Classic. They’ll face three SEC programs in dual competition in Mississippi, starting today at 2 p.m. CT when the Tigers play Mississippi State. The Gamecocks take on the Carolina Pro Classic/M15 Columbia Futures on Monday.

🔼 Family Legacy. Auburn volleyball’s Grace Havlicek is the granddaughter of NBA legend John Havlicek. She cherishes memories of her “Captain” and his unwavering support for his family. Now a standout volleyball player on The Plains, Grace carries on her grandfather’s legacy, wearing his number 17 jersey.

Fall Ball Up Next. The 2026 fall softball schedule is here! The Tigers will host six opponents this fall, while also taking trips to Tallahassee to play Florida State and Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama. The fall slate begins on Oct. 9 when the Tigers host Chipola.
