🔼 Fast Start. Auburn football downed Southern Miss 43-8 in Saturday’s Kickoff on The Plains. Andre Jordan Jr. scored the fastest touchdown in modern Auburn history with a 20-yard pick six on the first play of the game. Byrum Brown led the Tiger offense with 226 passing yards and two touchdowns, while the defense had two interceptions, both by Jordan Jr., and a safety.

🎥 Highlights

🔼 Sweeping Weekend. Auburn volleyball went 3-0 at the DePaul Invitational over the weekend. They started the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of UIC as Anastasija Ivkovic recorded a career-high seven blocks. The sweeping trend continued on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Central Michigan. The weekend concluded with a 3-1 win over host DePaul on Sunday as Greer Chambless set a career high with 17 kills.

🔼 Top Of The World. Former Auburn great Ja’Kobe Tharp won the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship 110-meter hurdles title. His 2026 season saw him break a world record, two collegiate records, win two NCAA Championships, two SEC titles, a Diamond League Championship and the Ultimate Championship.

Breaking Ground. Auburn broke ground on the Jordan-Hare North project, a seven-level, 300,000-square-foot addition to the stadium. The project is a collaboration between Auburn Athletics and the Division of Student Affairs. It will include premium experiences, conference spaces, retail venues and student activity areas. Scheduled for completion in spring 2029, the project reflects Auburn’s commitment to enhancing campus life and supporting excellence in athletics.
