🔼 Back & Better. Auburn kicker Alex McPherson has been named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List! The award is presented to the best place-kicker in college football. He is the only active FBS kicker with a career rate of 90% on 20 or more attempts. He also holds the Auburn record for consecutive made field goals with 20. McPherson missed last season with an illness, but is back and working out with the specialists.

🔼 Course Work. Auburn rising junior Jackson Koivun earned another career-best PGA Tour finish for the third-straight time! The No. 1 amateur in the world tied for fifth at the Wyndham Championship to earn his first career top five in a professional event. Carson Bacha earned his first professional win at the Osprey Valley Open hosted by TPC Toronto. Incoming freshman Jake Albert won the 68th Eastern Amateur, closing out the electric weekend of Auburn golf.

🔼 Gold Standard. Tiger Ja’Kobe Tharp won gold in the men’s 110m hurdles at the USATF Outdoor Championships! He earned a spot on Team USA at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in September.

🔼 Get Your Popcorn. Wide receiver Horatio Fields signed with Auburn for the 2025 season after a successful career at Wake Forest. Despite being overlooked in high school, his talent and determination led him to transfer and contribute to Auburn’s highly-touted wide receiver room. He is eager to experience the energy of Jordan-Hare Stadium and make a significant impact on the Tigers’ offense.

🔼 Schedule’s Set. The 2025 women’s golf schedule is here! The Tigers will compete in five events in the fall and six in the spring before postseason play. They’ll open the season as the defending champion at the Cougar Classic in September.
