🎙️ TALKING TIGERS

Consider how the landscape of college recruiting has changed in the last decade...in the last two months! Will Redmond is Auburn Football’s General Manager. Kenyatta Watson is the General Manager of Recruiting. They are two of the key figures in the Tigers’ recruiting efforts, from the high school ranks and transfer portal. This also includes roster retention in the NIL world. Will Redmond & Kenyatta Watson are featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast.

🔼  Double Trouble. Men’s golfers Josiah Gilbert and Jackson Koivun were named to the Fred Haskins Award Preseason Watch List! The Haskins Award honors the top male golfer in DI collegiate golf. Koivun won the Mark H. McCormack Medal just last week, being named the top male player in the 2025 World Amateur Golf Rankings. Gilbert was named a Second Team All-American and All-SEC last season.

🔼  ANNIKA For Anna. Women’s golfer Anna Davis has been named to the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List. This is the second-straight season that Davis has been named to the prestigious preseason watch list. She earned second-team All-America honors from the WGCA and Golfweek last season. The ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is given annually to the top female DI collegiate golfer.

🔼 Stay Hungry. Senior defensive lineman James Ash transferred to Auburn after playing at Florida A&M and Wake Forest. He earned All-SWAC Second Team Honors last season. He credits his brother, high school coaches, and mentors for his success. Ash, who plans to pursue coaching after his final season, is grateful for the opportunities football has provided and is excited to play in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

League’s Best. Six Tigers earned Preseason All-SEC honors by the conference’s coaches! Cam Coleman and Keldric Faulk earned first-team honors, while Eric Singleton Jr. earned second-team honors. Xavier Chaplin, Connor Lew and Alex McPherson landed on the third team.
