🎥 WAREAGLE+: TALKING TIGERS

Talking Tigers - Tim Hudson (Part 1)
Tim Hudson learned he had been drafted by the Oakland A’s while playing in the 1997 College World Series in Omaha with Auburn. The National & SEC Player of the Year was expecting to hear his name called after the 10th round. It came earlier. He spent 17 years in the majors, the first five with Oakland. In 2015, Huddy became the 15th pitcher in history to win against every MLB franchise. Ironically, it came against the A’s.

In September, he’ll be inducted into the Oakland A’s Hall of Fame. Tim Hudson is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast.

🔼 Some Pleasant News. Auburn junior Rayshawn Pleasant has been named to the 2025 Walter Camp Preseason FBS All-America Team. The SEC has the most schools (12) and players (16) on the 2025 preseason team.

A junior transfer from Tulane, Pleasant earned second team preseason honors as a kick returner after averaging a Tulane-record 34.5 yards per kick return last season. He played 13 games for the Green Wave last season, recording 35 tackles. Of Pleasant’s 13 kick returns last season, he returned two for touchdowns. He played nine games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, making five tackles.
