He comes from a coaching family. Brian Kloman spent time in NAIA, Division II and Division III before he made it to D-I as an assistant coach. Kloman now serves as Auburn Basketball’s General Manager. He came aboard during the Tigers’ run to the NIT title. Roster retention, the portal, both international and domestic and the high school recruit is just a part of Kloman’s domain. Auburn Basketball G.M., Brian Kloman is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast.

🔼  For The USA. What better way to wrap up the holiday weekend with the news that Auburn baseball’s Chase Fralick and Jackson Sanders made the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team?! They’ll compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship at Taichung City Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taiwan from July 11-15.

🔼 Taking Notes. Auburn men’s basketball will be led by Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton as they return to The Plains. Head coach Steven Pearl focuses on the importance of player-led teams and challenged the duo to take on leadership roles. The Tiger roster is now complete with the arrival of international players Narcisse Ngoy and Mantas Rubstavicius.

🐅 ONE BIG THING

Auburn Fast. Even though Auburn national champion Ja’Kobe Tharp was a state champion hurdler in high school, Auburn sprints coach Ken Harnden knew he had more in the tank. Under Harnden, Tharp refined his technique and achieved remarkable success, including winning multiple national titles and setting a world record of 12.75s in the 110m hurdles. He recently turned professional and looks to continue his success at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship and ultimately become an Olympic Champion.
