He came to Auburn to study International Business and Spanish. By the time his days on the Plains were over, he was the first African American President of the Student Government Association. Harold Melton became a lawyer, working in the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, the Governor’s office and then the Georgia Supreme Court. 🔼 Ready To Roll. Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown is eager to lead the Tigers in the 2026 season. After transferring from South Florida, where he set numerous records, Brown is determined to bring Auburn back to glory under Coach Alex Golesh and offensive coordinator Joel Gordon. Brown’s impressive work ethic and leadership qualities make him a promising addition to this Tiger offense. One thing Byrum Brown is looking forward to this year is rolling the trees at Toomer’s Corner.

🔼 Across The Pond. Auburn women’s golfer Balma Dávalos Guaita finished in the top 10 at the European Ladies Amateur Championship in Sweden. She tied for 10th overall by finishing 1-under par. She was just one of 12 golfers in a field of 143 to finish the tournament under par.

🔼 Movin’ On Up. Auburn soccer’s Amy Reif has been promoted to Director of Strategic Operations & Player Development! She has spent the last eight seasons as the Director of Soccer Operations. Reif will oversee the strategic planning and operational execution of the program while expanding her focus to the latest trends in college athletics.
