🔼 Sharp Tharp. Men’s hurdler Ja’Kobe Tharp has been named one of three finalists for The Bowerman! The Bowerman is given to the top collegiate male and female track athlete of the year. Tharp becomes the first Tiger in program history to be named a finalist.

🔼 End Of an Era. In honor of the countdown to Auburn football season being down to 5️⃣0️⃣ days, we take a look back to the 1975 season. 50 years ago was Ralph “Shug” Jordan’s final year as Auburn’s head coach. He retired after 25 seasons, finishing with a 176–83–6 record and securing his place as Auburn’s all-time winningest coach. He also led Auburn to its first national championship in 1957.

🔼 Senior Spotlight. Auburn senior Tate Johnson fulfilled his dream of playing for the Tigers, earning a starting position and overcoming the adversity of a season-ending injury. Back for an encore, Tate will play tight end this season. As his career winds down, he reflects on the supportive Auburn Family and his future plans in finance.

In the 2025 NBA draft, Auburn had one player selected: Johni Broome, who was picked by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 35th overall pick (second round). Additionally, two other Auburn players, Miles Kelly and Dylan Cardwell, signed professional contracts with NBA teams after the draft. Kelly signed a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks, while Cardwell signed with the Sacramento Kings.
