Good Morning, Auburn Family. Freshman standouts Chase Fralick and Chris Rembert have been named First Team Freshman All-America by Baseball America.
The duo already became the 21st and 22nd Freshman All-Americans in program history this postseason. Rembert earned first-team honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and second-team honors from Perfect Game. Fralick earned a first-team nod from Perfect Game. Talking Tigers - Courtney Trimble
From player to assistant coach, to head coach—that was the career path for Courtney Trimble. The former Auburn golfer, then Courtney Swaim, played on an SEC Champion and National Runner Up. As an assistant under Kim Evans, she coached on two more SEC Champions before becoming the head coach at UCF and Louisville.
The mother of two decided at one point to concentrate on family and her husband’s career. She started Fore Hire, helping former student athletes with their lives after their athletic careers. Next month, Trimble will become CEO of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. Courtney Trimble is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast.

🔼 “Bub” Wait, There’s More. We recognized Chase Fralick and Chris Rembert above, but let’s not forget this remarkable milestone also reached by Auburn freshman Bub Terrell.

🔼 Coach Ken FTW. Auburn track & field assistant head coach Ken Harnden was named the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Assistant Coach of the Year. At the outdoor championships earlier this month, Coach Harnden helped lead the men to a fourth-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
In his third year at Auburn, it marks the second consecutive outdoor season that Harnden, who coaches the men’s sprints and hurdles, has received the national award. Last week, Harnden was named the USTFCCCA South Region Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year, marking the third time he’s taken home the regional award for the Tigers.

🔼 Leveling Up. From JUCO to Auburn to the Renegades to the NFL, this Tiger never gives up.

🔼 A Coveted Legacy. From AP News’ Graham Dunbar:
“The first female and first African president of the IOC, Kirsty Coventry, was inaugurated in the role Monday on the organization’s 131st birthday with praise that the Olympic movement was ‘in the best of hands.’ Coventry, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming for Zimbabwe, finally and formally takes office Tuesday aged just 41 after decisively winning a seven-candidate election in March to succeed Thomas Bach.”
Coventry helped Auburn to its first National Championship in a Women's sport in 2002. She also aided the Tigers to two more Team Titles in 2003 and 2004 and was the top individual point scorer at the 2005 Championships. In total, Coventry racked up seven national titles, 25 All-American honors, was named the SEC Swimmer of the Year as well as the conference Female Athlete of the Year in 2004-05, and picked up the Honda Sports Award in 2005, recognizing the most outstanding female swimming of the year.
