🎙️ TALKING TIGERS

A second national championship in three years…that’s the case for Auburn Men’s Golf. The Tigers claimed their second crown by besting UCLA in the championship match at La Costa. When the Tigers returned to campus and before their Toomer’s Corner celebration, they sat down in the Brand Lab Studio. You’ll hear from Jackson Koivun, Cayden Pope, Josiah Gilbert, Logan Reilly, Jake Albert, Billy Davis, Assistant Coach David Johnson, Associate Head Coach Chris Williams and Head Coach Nick Clinard.

🔼 Catching Eyes. Auburn football’s Rayshawn Pleasant and Xavier Atkins were named First Team Preseason All-SEC by Phil Steele! The duo also earned Preseason All-American honors. Hudson Powell earned Second Team Preseason All-SEC, while Jeremiah Cobb and Jo Simmons landed on the Fourth Team.

🔼  Still Celebrating. Two weeks ago, Auburn men’s golf celebrated their second national championship in three years with a hero’s welcome at Toomer’s Corner. Superstar Jackson Koivun expressed gratitude for his time at Auburn and his teammates. Coach Nick Clinard is confident in the future of the program.

🔼 Roster Boosters. Auburn softball has signed two newcomers to the 2027 roster! The Tigers added right-handed pitcher Katelyn Hubley, a transfer from Campbell. She earned All-CAA First Team and All-Rookie Team honors after leading the pitching staff with a 2.28 ERA and a 19-6 record.

The Tigers signed another right-handed pitcher in Makayla Stephens! She transfers to Auburn from Georgia State, where she earned NFCA All-South Region honors after recording 225 strikeouts.

🔼 New Addition. Auburn men’s tennis signed graduate student Tyler Bowers! He transfers to Auburn after spending four seasons at Illinois. He recorded a 12-5 dual match record last season. His sister, Ashton, plays on the Auburn women’s tennis team.
