🔼 Par For the Quarterfinals Course. The only team to shoot below par in all four rounds, defending champion No. 1 Auburn finished second in stroke play to easily advance to today’s match play quarterfinals at the NCAA Championship at the Omni La Costa Champions Course.

Arizona State (-14) finished first in stroke play, two shots ahead of Auburn. Also advancing to match play are Florida (-9), Oklahoma State (-1), Oklahoma (E), Texas (+5), Virginia (+9) and Ole Miss (+11).

Sophomore Josiah Gilbert delivered Auburn’s lowest score on Memorial Day, a 4-under-par 68.

Oh, and this happened … 👇🏼 🤯 🏆

Sophomore Jackson Koivun shot a 2-under-par 70 Monday to finish stroke play tied for fourth at -6, securing his PGA Tour card by earning his 20th point in the PGA Tour University Accelerated program.

“It feels great,” said Koivun, who intends to remain on the Plains for his junior season in 2026.

“We’re excited he’s coming back to college,” head coach Nick Clinard said. “It’s the right decision for him as he continues to grow and mature mentally, physically and emotionally, and ultimately get ready for the Tour when the time is right.”

🔼 Wasting No Time. A duo of talented student-athletes will continue their collegiate careers on the Plains as co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux announced the additions of Ella Harrison and Alyssa Hastings to the 2026 roster.

Harrison joins the Tigers after a breakout freshman season at Rutgers where she was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and was a NFCA All-Northeast Region selection. The right-handed pitcher set the single season strikeout record at Rutgers with 213. Hastings spent the last two seasons at Lipscomb. The utility athlete made history this season as Lipscomb’s first NFCA First Team All-Region honoree in program history.

🔼 Gridiron Glow-Up. ICYMI! Jordan-Hare has been getting a makeover. 👀

And in more football news, but make it legendary. 👇🏼

🧐 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: 2003!

The Auburn baseball team’s No. 4 national seed heading into the NCAA regional ties the 2003 team for the highest postseason seeding in program history.

“A top four national seed is absolutely a big deal, but every road is a tough road,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “Every team that’s made this field has done something amazing. Four teams stand in our way of a return trip to Omaha. It’s nice that it starts right here at Plainsman Park on Friday.”

🐅 Happy Tuesday, Auburn Fam!
