🎥  THIS WEEK IN AUBURN BASEBALL

Butch Thompson previews the NCAA Tournament as Auburn prepares to host UCF, NC State, and Milwaukee in the regional round.

🔼 Regional Race. Auburn track & field will compete at the NCAA East Preliminaries in Lexington, Kentucky this week. Auburn earned 32 bids by 28 athletes who will compete in 19 individual events along with two relays. The preliminaries will take the top 12 finishers in each event, with all 24 competing at the NCAA Championships.

🔼 Big Four. Four Tiger women’s tennis players have earned ITA All-America honors! Doubles pair DJ Bennett and Ava Esposito earned All-American honors in both singles and doubles. Angella Okutoyi and Merna Refaat also earned doubles All-American status.

🔼  Blaydes Of Glory. Auburn men’s tennis brothers Billy and Freddy Blaydes have been named ITA Doubles All-Americans! The British brothers finished the season with a 21-14 overall record.

🔼  Four Of A Kind. Auburn’s four sophomore starting pitchers, Jake Marciano, Andreas Alvarez, Alex Petrovic, and Jackson Sanders, have led the Tigers to the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season. The four aces have combined for 365 strikeouts, serving as a key factor in Auburn’s success. When you have four aces, you go all in.

Tiger Trio. Auburn softball’s Alyssa Hastings, SJ Geurin and Ella Harrison were named to the CSC Academic All-District Softball Team! Hastings will advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
