Bodda Getta Brew 5/15: We're Going Back to Cali

The No. 1 Auburn men’s golf team sailed to its third straight regional championship on Wednesday, punching its ticket to the NCAA Championship.

Good Morning, Auburn Family. More of a coronation than a competition, the No. 1 Auburn men’s golf team sailed to its third straight regional championship, winning the NCAA Auburn Regional by 27 shots Wednesday at Auburn University Club to earn the opportunity to defend its title at the 2025 NCAA Championship.

Two-time SEC champion Jackson Koivun added another title to his resume, shooting a 5-under-par 67 to finish 12-under, winning the individual crown by four shots to earn his third tournament victory of the season and fifth of his career.

“They played some great golf, they really wanted to protect their home turf,” Auburn coach Nick Clinard said.

🐅 ONE BIG THING

How Can You Not Be Romantic About Baseball? ICYMI! Graduate infielder Andrew Dutton made his Auburn in the bottom of the fifth inning during the run-rule victory over Jax State on Tuesday. He hit a pinch-hit solo homer on the fourth pitch he saw. Dutton swung on a 2-1 fastball and sent it on top of the hitting facility beyond the right field fence, resulting in his teammates pouring out of the dugout in celebration.
