A day after being named the SEC Player of the Week, Eric Guevara has garnered National Player of the Week honors from Perfect Game.
Good Morning, Auburn Family. A day after being named the SEC Player of the Week, Eric Guevara has garnered National Player of the Week honors from Perfect Game.
Guevara is the first Auburn player to be named a National Player of the Week since Cooper McMurray in 2023. He is the fourth player in the last four years to receive the recognition.
In a series in which Auburn scored 46 runs on 51 hits, Guevara went 12-for-15 with seven runs, two doubles, a triple, two home runs and nine RBI in the three-game sweep. He also held down the hot corner with a perfect fielding percentage in eight chances and stole two bases.

🔼 Aaaand Action 🎬. Playing at Plainsman Park for the last time in the regular season, No. 2 Auburn baseball run ruled Jacksonville State 19-1 Tuesday night.
The Tigers offense turned in its fourth straight game with double-digit runs and hits as five players collected multiple hits and four drove in multiple runs.
In a movie-like moment, graduate infielder Andrew Dutton made his Auburn debut in the bottom of the fifth inning and hit a pinch-hit solo homer on the fourth pitch he saw, sending his teammates pouring out of the dugout in celebration.
A good, good day ☀️
