Good Morning, Auburn Family. Auburn teammates Jarquez Hunter and KeAndre Lambert-Smith will share the same stadium in Los Angeles next season. 

The first Tiger off the board, Hunter joined the Rams Saturday when Los Angeles traded up to select Auburn’s fourth all-time leading rusher in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the 117th overall pick.  

Nearly 900 miles northeast in Virginia Beach, a similar celebratory scene played out Saturday afternoon when the Chargers selected KLS in the fifth round with pick No. 158 overall.

🔼 These Numbers Don’t Lie. This weekend marked Auburn’s seventh SEC series win in the last nine conference series dating back to the final two of last season. The Tigers are joined by Texas as the only two SEC programs with seven SEC series wins in that span. Auburn has won eight straight home series dating back to the regular season finale a year ago and is 18-6 on weekends at Plainsman Park.

🔼 Dog Days Of Baseball. The No. 5 Auburn (30-14) baseball team starts a week on the road with a midweek matchup vs. Samford (23-20) tonight at 6 p.m. CT at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

Auburn is coming off its fifth SEC series win of the season and its seventh in the last nine SEC series dating back to the end of last season. The Tigers are 19-4 in non-conference play and are outscoring the opponent 186-97.

Auburn leads the all-time series vs. Samford, 79-25-1, including a 28-9 record against the Bulldogs away from home.

Ushering in the New Age of Athletics. Jamilah Ali-Shaffer will oversee the reporting of the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act Report. She will also work with the Title IX Office to coordinate annual Title IX educational training for all student-athletes, coaches and staff members. As the primary contact point for the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) platform (INFLCR), Ali-Shaffer will work with both Auburn Athletics staff and student-athletes to navigate the platform, as well as facilitate student-athlete NIL education related to personal branding, entrepreneurship and personal finance.

Rembert becomes the first freshman this season to earn the honor. It marks the second time the Pensacola, Florida, native has been recognized after also being named the SEC Freshman of the Week on March 3.
