Good Morning, Auburn Family. Men’s golfer Jackson Koivun became the first player in 49 years to be crowned SEC Individual Champion in back-to-back seasons! He won the title by one stroke and sent the Tigers into match play as the top seed. They eventually fell to No. 8 Florida in the SEC Championship Semifinals.

🔼 Took Two. Auburn softball picked up a series win over No. 13 South Carolina! They started the weekend in thrilling fashion, walking off the Gamecocks after scoring six runs. Amelia Lech hit the game-winning two-run single to beat the Gamecocks 7-6.

SJ Geurin silenced South Carolina from the circle, allowing just one hit in Saturday’s 7-0 shutout win. She retired 15-straight Gamecocks to start the game. Anna Wohlers went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBI. The Tigers fell 4-1 on Sunday.

🔼 Five On It. Auburn baseball won its fifth SEC series of the season! The weekend began with a 6-5 win over Mississippi State as Sam Dutton threw a season-high tying nine strikeouts. The Tigers fell 12-7 as the Bulldogs evened the series on Saturday, but they came back strong on Sunday. Auburn scored 11 runs in the first four innings to eventually win 14-8. The day was highlighted by home runs from Chris Rembert and Cooper McMurray.

🔼 Tiger Trottin’. Auburn track & field had a strong showing as they hosted the Tiger Track Classic on Saturday. It was the final home meet for 24 Tiger seniors. The Tigers earned gold in seven events and recorded 19 collegiate PR performances. Kyle Brown took gold in the men’s hammer throw with a 68.79 performance that places No. 15 in the NCAA. Azeem Fahmi and Ian Myers won men’s sprint events, while Ana-Liese Torian won the women’s 100m hurdles. Samantha Rogers won her second 1500m race in two weeks.
