Auburn is off to a hot start, picking up impressive wins over top competition. A new face is making a name on the mound, and a legend is honored.

🔼 Sweepin’ Weekend. No. 6 Auburn baseball swept Winthrop over the weekend! On Friday, the Tigers defeated Winthrop 10-0 in a run-rule victory, powered by three home runs and six extra-base hits. Chase Fralick hit a three-run homer in the first inning, while Bristol Carter and Eric Guevara also homered.

Auburn swept the Eagles in Saturday’s doubleheader, winning 6-0 and 8-1. Auburn pitchers allowed only one run on 11 hits on the day, while the offense scored 14 runs on 21 hits. The Tigers will host UAB tomorrow before starting SEC play against Missouri.

🔼 Took Two. After dropping the series opener, Auburn softball swept Kentucky in Saturday’s doubleheader, clinching the SEC series win. Alyssa Hastings hit a walk-off double in the 13th inning of the second game, securing the victory. The Tigers tied their SEC single-game record with seven doubles.

🔼 Finished Strong. The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team closed the regular season by defeating No. 5 Texas A&M 15-4, securing the overall No. 1 seed at the SEC Championship. Auburn won all four events and swept the Most Outstanding Performer honors. The Tigers will host the SEC Championship at the Auburn University Equestrian Center on Mar. 27-28.
