A flashy 7-under final round propelled No. 2 Auburn to a 10-shot victory Tuesday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
Good Morning, Auburn Family. A flashy 7-under final round propelled No. 2 Auburn to a 10-shot victory Tuesday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The lone squad to conclude play below par, the Tigers finished the week at 9-under 855 to take top honors. Four of the five men in the Auburn lineup earned top 15 placements, highlighted by Carson Bacha, who finished second.
🗣“What a great showing by our guys this week. We’d yet to really put it into high gear and play at our best this season, and I think this tournament is a sign of that, physically and mentally.” - Nick Clinard, head coach

🔼 Tourney Time. The postseason begins for Auburn women’s basketball starts tonight in Greenville, South Carolina, for the 2025 SEC Tournament. The 14th-seeded Tigers will take on 11th-seeded Florida at approximately 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET in the final game of the first round at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
In the regular season meeting between the teams, Auburn won 74-51 at home behind 18 points from DeYona Gaston and a then-career high 16 from Yuting Deng.
Auburn looks to pick up a win in the SEC Tournament for the second straight season; the Tigers defeated Arkansas in their first game last season before falling to LSU in the quarterfinals.

🔼 Aggies Snap Streak. Making his first career start for an injured Denver Jones, Tahaad Pettiford made six 3-pointers and scored 19 points, but No. 1 Auburn fell to No. 22 Texas A&M 83-72 Tuesday at Reed Arena, ending the Tigers’ six-game winning streak.
🗣 “We got pushed around tonight. Give Texas A&M credit. They’ve beaten us before this way.” - Bruce Pearl, head coach
The defeat cost Auburn an opportunity to go 9-0 in SEC road games, ending the Tigers’ streak of nine consecutive conference road victories dating back to the end of last season.
