🦅 THE FLIGHT

It’s been a busy three months for the Auburn football program. Go behind the scenes with the Sports Performance staff as they lead offseason workouts designed to challenge the team and prepare the Tigers for the start of spring ball.

🔼  Spring Ball Begins. New Auburn head coach Alex Golesh led his first spring practice, highlighting the team’s energy and effort. Transfer quarterback Byrum Brown looks to improve his read progressions and checkdowns. He’s also helping other players learn Coach Golesh’s system. Auburn will practice three times a week, culminating in the A-Day game on April 18th.

🔼 Survive & Advance. Kevin Overton scored 21 points, including seven 3-pointers in the second half, to lead Auburn to a 78-67 victory over South Alabama in the NIT. Auburn outscored South Alabama 48-31 in the second half, shooting 11-for-18 from beyond the arc. The Tigers will host Seattle in the second round this weekend.

🔼 Gave Tech Heck. No. 4 Auburn baseball defeated No. 3 Georgia Tech 9-2, extending its winning streak to 11 games. Andreas Alvarez pitched a strong game, allowing zero earned runs and striking out a career-high 10 batters. Auburn’s offense was led by Chris Rembert, who hit a home run and drove in three runs.

🔼 Grand Aumua. Auburn softball defeated South Alabama 11-2 in a run-rule victory. Freshman Delaney Aumua led the Tigers with a grand slam and a double, driving in six runs. Auburn scored early and often, taking advantage of walks and capitalizing on opportunities to build a commanding lead. They’ll host Jacksonville State tonight at 6 p.m. CT. It’s Fan Appreciation Night, and fans will receive a free koozie and enjoy Diamond Deals.

🔼 Chasing Championships. Auburn sends 10 women swimmers to compete at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, starting today. The championships will be streamed live on ESPN+.

🔼 All-American Kids. Eight Auburn athletes earned All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships! Kayinsola Ajayi, Ja’Kobe Tharp, Israel Okon, Megan Hague and Ana-Liese Torian earned first-team honors.
