🏆 Two Tigers earn titles

🔼 Golden Tigers. Auburn track & field had a historic day at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Ja’Kobe Tharp and Kayinsola Ajayi won national championships in the 60m hurdles and 60m dash, respectively, with Tharp breaking the collegiate record. The Auburn women finished tied for 22nd, led by Ana-Liese Torian’s bronze medal in the 60m hurdles and Megan Hague’s fourth-place finish in the shot put.

🔼 Not Done Yet. The men’s basketball season isn’t over yet! The top-seeded Tigers will host South Alabama tomorrow at 9 p.m. CT in the first round of the NIT. The game will air on ESPN2. Click here to purchase tickets!

🔼 SEC Sweep. No. 5 Auburn baseball swept Missouri to begin SEC play! They shut out the Tigers 2-0 on Friday night to snap Missouri’s 13-game winning streak. Auburn went on to win game one of Saturday’s doubleheader 4-3 in 10 innings. They followed it with a less-stressful 9-2 win in game two. The weekend rotation of Jake Marciano, Jackson Sanders and Alex Petrovic combined for 21.2 of the 27 innings played, each going at least 7.0 innings in their first career SEC starts. The group turned in a 0.83 ERA.

🔼  Senior Showing. No. 15 Auburn fell to No. 7 Missouri 197.325-196.7 in the regular season finale. Julianne Huff won the all-around title with a score of 39.25, while Marissa Neal and Alex Irvine each earned event titles on floor and beam, respectively. Auburn will compete in the SEC Championships on Saturday.

🔼 Shutout Saturday. Auburn women’s tennis shut out Kentucky 4-0, securing their seventh consecutive SEC victory. The Tigers won the doubles point and three straight-set singles matches, with standout performances from DJ Bennett and Ekaterina Khairutdinova. Auburn improved to 23-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play, leading the SEC standings.
