🔼 Solid Start. Auburn softball went 4-1 at the NFCA Leadoff Classic over the weekend! They earned wins over Notre Dame, Michigan State, No. 9 Clemson and Penn State. Their only loss came in extra innings to Pittsburgh.

🔼 Record Week. The fifth-ranked men’s golf team won the Amer Ari Invitational by matching an NCAA scoring record with a 77-under-par score. Jackson Koivun won his sixth career tournament with rounds of 62, 62 and 67 for a 25-under week. He beat Auburn’s 54-hole record by seven strokes.

🔼 Moving On. The fourth-ranked women’s tennis team defeated No. 9 NC State 4-1 in the ITA Indoor Championship quarterfinals. The Tigers secured the doubles point and won three singles matches, led by strong performances from Ava Esposito, DJ Bennett and Ashton Bowers. Auburn will face top-ranked Georgia in the semifinals.

🔼 Fell Short. Tahaad Pettiford and Keyshawn Hall combined for 49 points, but Auburn fell to Alabama 96-92. Despite leading by four at halftime, Auburn’s defense faltered in the second half, allowing Alabama to score 59 points. The Tigers will host No. 15 Vanderbilt tomorrow.
