🔼 The Jungle Works Its Magic Again. Auburn held Texas A&M scoreless for 8 and a half minutes and defeated the Aggies 65-52 Thursday at Neville Arena, the Tigers’ third consecutive SEC home victory.

Mar’Shaun Bostic flirted with a triple-double, totaling 10 points, 10 assists and seven of Auburn’s 13 steals to record her first career double-double. There will be two wild card coverage windows this season with two games airing on ESPNU and SEC Network on Thursday, April 17 and four games on ESPN2 and SEC Network the final weekend of the regular season from May15-17. 🔼 More DG Hoopla. Auburn graduate forward DeYona Gaston has earned a spot on the Katrina McClain Award Midseason Top 10. The Katrina McClain Award, now in its eighth year, recognizes the top power forwards in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball.

Gaston is averaging 22.0 points per game, which ranks third in the SEC and eighth nationally. She has 11 games this year with 20-plus points and four games this year with 30-plus. The 6-2 forward set a Neville Arena record for an Auburn player with 36 points in the win over Virginia-Lynchburg Nov. 8, then nearly matched that with 35 points vs. Alabama State.

🔼 Calling All Auburn Gymnastics Fans. The No. 12 Auburn gymnastics team returns to Neville tonight, welcoming SEC rival Georgia. The Tigers and the Bulldogs will go head-to-head at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.

Auburn is looking forward to being in front of the 9,121 Tiger fans once again this weekend.

"We're going to need the crowd this weekend," head coach Jeff Graba said. "There is nothing like our crowd and we're going to need them to help us beat a legacy program like Georgia."

🔼 Upping the Stakes. No. 10 Auburn is set to begin play at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship—which is comprised of 16 teams—today in both Evanston and Champaign, Illinois. The Tigers qualified for their fourth consecutive appearance in the event after defeating San Diego and No. 11 USC during ITA Kickoff Weekend in Los Angeles in January.

Auburn, the five-seed, will play four-seeded Stanford today to kick off the event at 3:30 p.m. CT. If the Tigers are victorious over the Cardinal, they will face the winner of Georgia and Northwestern in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The event’s semifinals will be held on Monday followed by the championship final on Tuesday.

🎾 : FULL RUNDOWN

🔼 Wild Horses Couldn’t Drag Us Away. The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team returns to action following the holiday break this weekend, hosting a pair of opponents in Minnesota Crookston and No. 9 UT Martin at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.

In March, the Top 10 list will be narrowed to just five, and in late March, the five finalists will be presented to Malone and the Hall of Fame’s selection committees, where winners will be selected.

🔼 Fielding Success. The Auburn track & field team travels to Bryan-College Station, Texas, for the Charlie Thomas Invitational today and tomorrow. The meet will be held at the R.A. “Murray” Fasken Indoor Track with the women’s weight throw starting this morning at 9:30 a.m. CT.

The Tigers enter the weekend fresh off a solid meet at the Bob Pollock Invitational last week in Clemson with four event wins, ten collegiate personal bests and four Auburn top 10 performances. In the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll, the men are ranked No. 25 in the country.
