Good Morning, Auburn Family. Taking a two-game lead into the final two weeks of the SEC season, No. 1 Auburn closes its conference schedule with three ranked opponents after tonight’s matchup with Ole Miss, which is two spots out of the AP Top 25. Auburn hopes to end the month the way it began – with a victory over the Rebels.

“Making history matters to us,” said Auburn coach Bruce Pearl, who is seeking his third regular season conference championship since 2018 and fifth SEC title overall on the Plains. “We also recognize the next four games are going to be challenging.”

The top-ranked Tigers (25-2, 13-1) conclude their three-game homestand tonight at 6 p.m. CT vs. Ole Miss (19-8, 8-6) at Neville Arena on ESPN2.

🔼 This One Hit Different. No. 25 Auburn steadied a back-and-forth game in the early going to defeat Samford 15-8 in front of a record midweek and student crowd Tuesday night at Plainsman Park.

The offense collected 13 or more hits for the fourth straight game and hit four home runs for the second straight contest. Eight players recorded a hit and scored a run, including four with multiple hits and seven with multiple runs.

“We know what we are capable of because we see it each and every day,” head coach Butch Thompson said of the offensive production.

🔼 Home is Where the Horses Are. Growing up in Birmingham meant that fifth year Olivia Bradley was no stranger to the Orange and Blue.

For every Auburn football game she was able to attend growing up, she and her family would throw in an Auburn equestrian meet as well. In addition to attending the meets, young Bradley looked forward to attending Auburn Equestrian’s annual camps for as long as she can remember.

“Auburn has always felt like a second home,” Bradley said.
