Sophomore pitcher Jake Marciano strikes out 12 batters over 5 innings in his Auburn debut.

🔼 How Sweep It Is. No. 5 Auburn baseball got off to a hot start on Opening Weekend, earning a pair of 2-1 wins against Youngstown State before blowing the top off in a 17-2 win over the Penguins to complete the sweep. Chase Fralick and Eric Guevara led the way with six hits each, while Bristol Carter drove in four runs.

🔼 Defended Home Dirt. Auburn softball pushed its win streak to six games and its overall record to 9-2 over the weekend, sweeping five games as part of the War Eagle Classic at Jane B. Moore Field. The Tigers outscored Illinois, Bradley (x2), Campbell and Binghamton by a combined score of 57-12.

🔼 Top Of The Leaderboard. Auburn men’s golfer Jackson Koivun earned low medalist for the second consecutive tournament on Sunday at the Gator Invitational, becoming Auburn’s all-time wins leader in the process. Koivun won by two strokes at the Mark Bostick Golf Course, shooting 9-under par.

🔼 Conference Clash. Auburn men’s basketball dropped an SEC road game to No. 21 Arkansas on Saturday, 88-75. Tahaad Pettiford scored 29 points to lead the Tigers, while KeShawn Murphy scored a career-high 22 points.
