Opening Day has arrived! A revamped pitching rotation aims to strengthen Auburn defensively as the Tigers begin the season on the road, earning impressive victories and facing a few early challenges.

🔼 Opening Weekend On The Plains. It’s Opening Weekend on The Plains for Auburn softball! The Tigers will host the War Eagle Classic today through Sunday. They’ll host Illinois tonight at 5 p.m. on SEC Network+. Auburn will be honoring the late Mike “Helmet Guy” Cooper with commemorative mini-helmets while supplies last.

🔼 Clean Sweep. Auburn golfers Jake Albert and Jackson Koivun swept this week’s SEC honors after their performances at the Amer Ari Invitational. Albert earned SEC Freshman of the Week as he shot 13-under-par with rounds of 64, 70, and 69. Koivun was named SEC Golfer of the Week for his record-breaking 25-under-par performance.

🔼 Academic Excellence. Auburn had 69 student-athletes named to the 2025 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll. Football had the most selections (37), followed by soccer (11), women’s cross country (9), volleyball (8) and men’s cross country (4).

🔼 All About Community. Auburn student-athletes participated in World Read Aloud Day by reading to students at local elementary schools. It was a positive experience for both the athletes and the students, fostering a sense of community and excitement.
