🦅 THE FLIGHT

There's a new head coach leading the Auburn Football program! Go behind the scenes of a busy first week for Alex Golesh. From touchdown at the airport and his first team meeting, to Tiger Walk, his public introduction, National Signing Day and even a stop at a basketball game. Coach Golesh has hit the ground running.

🔼 Holiday Hoops. After a week of final exams, Auburn basketball is back in action! The 21st-ranked men’s basketball team will play Chattanooga tomorrow in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena in the annual Holiday Hoopsgiving event. Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.

🔼 Road Trip. The women’s basketball team is headed to the East Coast for the weekend. They’ll play at Seton Hall on Sunday at noon on ESPN+. The Tigers are looking to bounce back from losses to Oregon and Syracuse.

🔼 Freakish Freshmen. Two Tigers earned SEC All-Freshman honors! Linebacker Elijah Melendez and center Kail Ellis landed on the Freshman All-SEC Team. Both freshmen stepped up when called upon, with Ellis starting as the youngest college football player this season at age 17.

🔼 Keep ‘Em Coming. Auburn football staff additions continue to be announced! Veteran defensive coach Coleman Hutzler has been named an assistant coach, working with the Bucks and Edges. Support staff additions include Ephi Levy (Director of Advance Scouting), Jeremy Lees (Director of Logistics), Cheney Sibley (Football Operations Coordinator), Dylan Douglas (Advance Scouting Coordinator), Parker Carmichael (Assistant Wide Receivers Coach), Parker Ball (Assistant Offensive Line Coach) and Tyler Majewski (Assistant Special Teams Coach).

Big Four. Four Tigers earned PFSN All-SEC honors! Keyron Crawford, Rayshawn Pleasant and Xavier Atkins landed on the First Team. Jeremiah Cobb earned third-team honors.
