🎙️ UNGUARDED

Key sits down with Mike Burgomaster, the offensive mind behind Auburn Basketball.

🔼 Top Priority. New Auburn head football coach Alex Golesh has been prioritizing meeting with current players, who all express their love for Auburn. He praises defensive coordinator DJ Durkin and offensive coordinator Joel Gordon and emphasizes the importance of elite staff and recruiting the best players, particularly from within a 250-mile radius. Golesh is excited to see Jordan-Hare Stadium rockin’ next season.

🔼 New Additions. Head coach Alex Golesh announced more additions to the Auburn football staff. Vontrell King-Williams is back for his fourth season with the staff as the defensive line coach. DeMarcus Van Dyke has been hired as Auburn’s cornerbacks coach after serving in the same role at South Florida. New additions also include George Courides (Director of Football Performance), Harding Harper III (Executive Director of Recruiting), Terrence Kennell (Director of Applied Science), John-Allen Stone (Director of Football Administration) and Frank Failace (Director of Football Performance).

🔼  Standing In The Hall Of Fame. Former Auburn linebacker Gregg Carr was inducted into the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame this week. Carr, who ranks second in Auburn history with 453 career tackles, credited his success to his teammates and coaches, particularly head coach Pat Dye. A standout student-athlete, Carr graduated from Auburn’s Ginn College of Engineering and later became an orthopedic surgeon.

🔼 Auburn Made. Let’s take a look at how former Tigers performed in week 14 of the NFL:

  • Shedrick Jackson made his first NFL catch and turned it into a 25-yard touchdown for the Las Vegas Raiders.

  • Owen Pappoe led the Arizona Cardinals with a career-high 10 tackles, doubling his former career high.

  • Jamien Sherwood led the New York Jets with 15 tackles and added two passes defended.

🔼 Play Ball. Auburn softball’s 2026 schedule is here! The slate includes two tournaments at Jane B. Moore Field and several midweek games against in-state and regional opponents. The Tigers will open the season at North Florida on Feb. 5 and host their final non-conference tournament, the Jane B. Moore Memorial, from Feb. 26 to March 1. SEC play will begin March 27 when the Tigers host Missouri.
