🔼 Season’s Greetings. Who’s ready for hoops? Auburn basketball season begins today! The Steven Pearl era will officially begin tonight when the No. 20 men’s basketball team hosts Bethune-Cookman at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network+. The Tigers had a strong showing in Thursday’s 100-71 exhibition win over Memphis.

🔼 New Beginnings. The Larry Vickers era begins today as Auburn women’s basketball begins its 55th season. The Tigers will play at Charlotte today at 4:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+. Auburn returns just two players from last season and welcomes 10 newcomers.
🏀 Preview

🔼 Shining Silver. Auburn sophomore Nickson Chebii finished second overall at the SEC Cross Country Championship, leading the men’s team to a 12-place finish. His finish was the best by an Auburn male since 2014. They’ll compete in the NCAA South Regionals next.

🔼 Gone Giggin’. No. 3 Auburn equestrian defeated No. 7 TCU 12-6 on the road! Avery Glynn and Sydney Swallom earned Most Outstanding Performer honors in Flat and Horsemanship, respectively. The Tigers are 10-2 against the Horned Frogs all-time.

🔼 End Of The Road. Auburn soccer lost 3-2 to LSU in the SEC Soccer Tournament, concluding their season. Despite trailing 2-0 at halftime, Auburn fought back with goals from Erin Flurey and Shelby Sallee, but ultimately fell short. The Tigers end the season with a 5-6-7 record.

Leadership Change. Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen announced a change in leadership for the Auburn football program. D.J. Durkin will serve as interim head coach going forward.
“I have informed Coach Freeze of my decision to make a change in leadership with the Auburn Football program. Coach Freeze is a man of integrity, and we are appreciative of his investment in Auburn and his relentless work over the last three years in bolstering our roster. Our expectations for Auburn Football are to annually compete for championships and the search for the next leader of Auburn Football begins immediately.”
