🔼 Impact Player. Auburn kicker Alex McPherson has received the 2025 Pat Sullivan Impact Award! The award recognizes individuals in sports who have positively impacted others through their character, leadership, and perseverance. McPherson has battled through adversity, including multiple health challenges over the last two seasons, losing more than 40 pounds before returning to the team this summer.

🔼 Tigers Tamed. No. 7 Michigan tamed the 21st-ranked Tigers as Auburn men’s basketball fell 102-72 last night. Tahaad Pettiford led the Tigers with 16 points, turning in his best outside shooting performance of the season as he went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Michigan’s size hurt Auburn offensively. The Tigers will continue Players Era Championship play today at 7 p.m. CT against No. 14 St. John’s.

🔼  Hump Day Hoops. The women’s basketball team closes out the Hoopfest Challenge tonight when they play California at 6:30 p.m. CT on FloSports. The two teams will be playing for the third time, with the last two meetings coming in the last two seasons.

🔼 Academic Excellence. Three Auburn soccer players received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors — Taylor Chism, Dylan Driver, and Grace Ivey. These student-athletes excelled both on the field and in the classroom, maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher while making significant contributions to their team’s success.
